Less back-and-forth.

More time for care.

With tio, important observations, symptom histories, and parent concerns are available before the appointment – structured, multilingual, and easy to review.

The challenge

Important context is often missing

at the beginning of the consultation

Key observations, symptom histories, and information from parents often need to be reconstructed during the appointment, taking valuable time away from patient care.

The solution

Key information reaches your practice

before the appointment

Parents provide relevant information in advance and in their preferred language. tio structures the information and makes it available to your practice in a clear, standardized format before the consultation.

STEP 1

Parents start via QR code or the tio app

Parents use their own smartphone – either in the waiting room or from home before the appointment. No installation required and no additional workload for your practice.

STEP 2

Parents document the reason for the visit

Acute symptoms, recurring concerns, preventive check-ups, and vaccinations are documented in a structured way. Questionnaires are available in more than 20 languages.

STEP 3

Your practice receives structured information in the tio Portal

The most important information is available before the appointment in a standardized format. Entries are automatically translated, can be supplemented with notes, and can be copied directly into your practice management system if required.

STEP 4

The consultation starts with context

The reason for the visit, symptom history, and the parents’ perspective are already known. This makes it easier to start the conversation and reduces clarification questions.

What tio can change in

everyday practice

Better preparation before the appointment

Important observations, symptom histories, and parent concerns are already available before the first conversation.

More time for the actual consultation

Less time spent gathering basic information and more time for examination, counselling, and medical decision-making.

Fewer language barriers in daily practice

Frequently asked questions

What is tio?

tio helps parents document important observations and information before an appointment. Practices receive this information in a clear, standardized format before the consultation. Questionnaires are available in more than 20 languages and are automatically displayed in German for your team.

Is tio a medical device?

No.

tio does not provide diagnoses, make medical decisions, or recommend treatments. Medical responsibility remains entirely with the treating healthcare professionals.

How does tio fit into our existing workflow?

Parents complete their information before the appointment using their own smartphone. Practices receive the information in the tio Portal and can use relevant details directly for documentation and consultation preparation.

Does tio create additional work for our team?

The goal is the opposite.

Parents provide information independently before the appointment. Your team receives structured information instead of unstructured free text or lengthy explanations during the consultation.

We already use forms. Why should we still look at tio?

Many practices already use forms.

tio complements them with a structured, digital, and multilingual preparation process. Parents are guided through an intelligent questionnaire, resulting in information that is easier to review and process in everyday practice.

Can tio be integrated into existing appointment systems?

In many cases, yes.

tio can be integrated through links in appointment confirmations, reminder messages, or QR codes. Available options depend on the specific scheduling system and can be explored during the pilot.

Why does tio use guided questionnaires instead of free-text fields?

Structured questionnaires ensure that information is provided in a consistent format. This makes it easier to review, compare, and process information efficiently in daily practice.

How does tio address language barriers?

Questionnaires are currently available in more than 20 languages, including:

German, Arabic, Russian, Turkish, Kurdish, Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian, English, Farsi/Dari, French, Albanian, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, Bulgarian, Somali, Tigrinya, Pashto, Vietnamese, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Parents can provide information in their preferred language. The information is automatically displayed in German for the practice while the original language remains available at all times.

What happens if parents do not complete the questionnaire?

The appointment proceeds as usual.

There are no disadvantages or additional tasks for the practice team.

How long does implementation take?

In most cases, a short onboarding session is sufficient. No practice management system replacement or extensive technical project is required.

How does the 90-day pilot work?

The pilot runs for 90 days within your normal practice workflow.

We set up tio together and support the rollout. During the pilot, we evaluate whether structured pre-appointment information creates measurable value for your practice.

There is no long-term commitment. After the pilot, you decide whether continuing makes sense for your practice.
